Day 2: Here, Near, and Far

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." — Acts 1:8

Reflection: Jesus' last instruction to His followers was to be witnesses "here, near, and far." God desires for the message of His love and redemption to be shared, beginning with where we are. Sometimes, we’re eager to reach others in far-off places, but God reminds us that our work starts with our immediate surroundings—our "Jerusalem."

Reflect today on your “Jerusalem.” How can you partner with God in the mission of being a witness of God's love to those around you?

Prayer: God, help me see the people and needs right around me. Give me courage to share Your love here, and to support our mission to reach others near and far. May my life reflect Your love in every place I go. Amen.
