Loving the Unlovable

Scripture: Matthew 5:43-44 (NLT)"You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!"Reflection: It’s easy to love those who love us back, but Jesus challenges us to a higher standard: to love our enemies. This is radical love—the kind that only comes from God. When we pray for those who have hurt us, it opens our hearts to love them in a way that reflects Jesus. Action Step: Is there someone in your life who feels unlovable? Ask God to give you His love for that person. Take a practical step toward showing them kindness this week. Prayer: Lord, it’s hard to love those who’ve caused me pain. But I know You call me to a higher way. Fill my heart with Your love and help me show kindness to those who are difficult to love.
